Should I prune the leaves of my plant because they are turning yellow and wilting?

Yes, you must. It would be best to cut the yellow leaves to encourage new leaves to grow and improve the health of the whole leaf. Pruning also prevents the spread of rot.

I think you should cut the yellowing leaves so they don't spread to the other healthy ones. Those yellow leaves might also be from pests, so it's best to deal with the pests and water the plant right away after you cut the leaves off so it doesn't get stressed.
